NEW BRUKER CTX 500 PORTABLE COUNTERTOP XRF ANALYZER SALE!!
The Bruker CTX 500 is a high-powered, countertop XRF analyzer that comes in a compact, light and portable design. The unit has a sturdy stainless steel body and is easy to clean. The CTX 500 features a minimal footprint, taking up very little space on any surface. The unit ships with a standard waterproof and pressure equilibrated Pelican case or can be transported in an optional protective backpack. The Bruker CounterTop XRF (CTX) is an ideal design for extended measurements making it a great fit for those wanting to screen large volumes of soil samples, drill pulps and grade control samples quickly and efficiently. This can be a huge cost saving as it offers instant results, cutting out the standard waiting time for laboratory testing. The portability of the unit at less than 7 kilograms, being battery operated and with a small footprint of 14 centimetres means that analysis can happen anywhere you require. It can be secured in its pelican case or placed inside an optional protective backpack for travel.
Bruker’s CTX model 500 (Ci-U) and 500s/800 (Mg-U) offer lab-based quality in a portable instrument for identifying exact alloy elemental analysis. The unit has an interlocked sample compartment and an easy one-button press in order to make field work safe and easy. The CTX 500 is operated through a front panel touchscreen display or can run with a PC via Wi-Fi or USB. Readying samples for analysis is easy, and they can be placed in the safety chamber with plenty of room to spare, or in sample cups, baggies or other containers depending on your need.
The CTX500 measures elements from Titanium to Uranium and uses a 50kV 2W Rhodium (Rh) thin window X-ray tube to analyze samples. The unit also features Bruker's patented SharpBeam optimized X-ray geometry and patented TITAN Detector Shield to protect against detector puncture. The CTX 500 offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connections. The touchscreen user-interface allows measurement control and provides an easy-to-read results display. The graphene Window SDD has an active area of 20mm2; resolution is <145eV at 450k.
The Toolbox software Bruker includes allows for full remote operation of the CTX 500. Additional add-on software, Bruker’s Artax, is designed for advanced qualitative, semi-quantitative composition analysis, as well as EasyCal for your own, user-defined empirical correlations.
The advantages of portable XRF units (other names include XRF, PMI, X-ray test, elemental analyser, spectrometer) typically:
- Avoid any potential material mix up.
- Give excellent and fast on-site results.
- Avoid sending samples to labs.
- Avoid the failure of critical components.
- Give rapid pre-screening and routine analysis.
- Identify the presence of restricted materials.
- Identify materials generally.
- Provide interlocked portable elemental analysis for safe on site inspections.
- Are battery operated for remote work.
